The Bury Lifestyle Service

If you would like assistance to help you get fit for surgery, the Bury Lifestyle Service is here to support and advise you with making healthier lifestyle choices and maintain healthier habits such as stopping smoking, healthy eating, alcohol, weight management and more. The team, employed by Bury Council, offers free, confidential, personalised support and advice. The Bury Lifestyle Service accepts both self-referrals and referrals from health care practitioners for all those that live / work /study and who are registered with a Bury GP or resident in the borough.

The Lifestyle Service operates from a variety of venues across Bury, including community centres, children’s centres and GP surgeries where daytime, evening and weekend appointments are available.
