Boardroom
NHS Bury CCG's Governing Body (Board) oversees the work of the organisation and sets its priorities and direction. The Governing Body members represent the interests of patients, carers and the public of Bury.
The Governing Body is made up of NHS Bury CCG's Executive Directors, Clinicians and other representatives including a Patients' Champion.
The Governing Body is supported by a Clinical Cabinet of Doctors, Nurses, Consultants, and other partners, to inform the design and purchasing of local health services, and a Patient Cabinet chaired by the Patients' Champsion who sits on the Governing Body, to ensure the views of local people are heard and acted upon.
Meetings are held in public every month. At the end of the agenda there is an opportunity for public questions about issues raised during the meeting.
The Governing Body is chaired by Dr. Kiran Patel, Chair of NHS Bury CCG.
