Chair of the Patients’ Cabinet
Bury Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is a brand new NHS organisation, made up of local GPs and other local healthcare practitioners. The CCG will become formally established on April 1st 2013 and it will plan and purchase the health services of Bury patients, but for the next year it is beginning its’ work in shadow form.
Bury CCG is looking to set up a Patients’ Cabinet consisting of twelve part time Cabinet Members and its’ Chair - the Patients’ Champion. The role of the Cabinet will be to represent the views and perspectives of Bury patients in future decision making.
